Central States Gives $50,000 to ANA

Central States Numismatic Society has presented a $50,000 gift to the American Numismatic Association to defray the expenses of this year's ANA Summer Seminar.
Patti Finner, CSNS president, and Kevin Foley, CSNS convention general chairman, presented the check on behalf of the society to Larry Shepherd, ANA executive director, July 29 at the ANA World's Fair of Money in Baltimore, Md.
Central States has also issued a separate $25,000 challenge. The society will match donations to the ANA from clubs or individuals up to $12,500. It will also match donations to the ANA from dealers or commercial entities up to $12,500.
It has agreed to donate a maximum total of $75,000 for this program.
