Mint Stats: 10th Anniversary Set Long Way From Sellout
By David C. Harper
January 17, 2008

It was time to find a home for the 10th anniversary platinum coin set. It is now in the 2007-W Eagles box below. Sales are still creeping along. There is a long way to go before reaching the 30,000 maximum. Bulk proof and "W" platinum sales were suspended.

Take a look at the box containing last year's commemoratives. Bald Eagle sales have just started and will appear there next week. James Madison Presidential Dollar First Day Cover sales have reached 37,700. The maximum is 50,000.

Silver American Eagle sales through the national dealer network rose by 245,000 to 520,000 this week. The one-ounce gold Eagle was up 5,000 to 8,000. Sales of 2008 Buffalo coins edged up by 1,500 to 2,500.
