Numismatists and trivia buffs will want to buy a copy of “History of the Central States Numismatic Society,” a new book by Ray Lockwood that will be released at the CSNS 75th Anniversary Convention April 23-26 in Schaumburg, Ill.

The book covers the history of CSNS from its beginning in 1939 to 2014. A photo section is one feature that longtime members will especially appreciate.

Many people, past and present, are mentioned throughout the book, by Lockwood.

“After all, the history of any organization is the story of people who have contributed in a wide variety of ways,” he said.

The book is published in a hard-cover version at $30 postpaid and a soft-cover edition at $6 postpaid.

Orders with checks made out to CSNS should be sent to Ray Lockwood, Education Director, Central States Numismatic Society, 2075 E. Bocock Road, Marion, IN 46952.

Books will be autographed by Lockwood upon request and will be available for pickup at the convention or mailed if requested.
